I'm using version 5.3.0.23598 of episode encoder on windows doing a batch conversion from mpeg2 to mpeg4 with bumper and trailer.

All my original files are identical but some are encoding fine whilst others are saying 'Done with 1 error'.

How do I find out what the error is?

I'm running it on windows xp with latest version of quicktime installed plus the mpeg2 component.

First test the ones that don't work without bumper trailer and see if that's the issue.
This will determine whether it's specific to a source or whether it's the bumper trailer feature itself having the problem.
