Our clients want us to stream their events to their Ustream Channel AND their Facebook now. We've done this more or less successfully. However we've had incidences on long events where either Ustream's or Facebook's stream crashed while the other remains healthy. Is there a way to restart a single stream in that case? What is "best practices" when streaming to multiple services when one or the other may become unstable over a long time?

Have you tried Output, Start/Stop Broadcasting and then selecting the stream that needs to be restarted?

Oh, duh, of course... I forgot about that. Maybe I'll add that to "Feature Requests" to add a console where connection status and health appear for each stream. right now indicators start blinking orange but it's hard to tell what's going on with what. Surely there's a way to pop up a window or dialog box that says "Stream 2 is experiencing stability issues" or something like that with an embedded start/stop button for that particular stream....

The status of each stream should always be visible somewhere along the top of the window. And there should be all sorts of alarms/alerts when a stream is having issues.... like a flashing frame around the Live Broadcasting Area window.

Thanks for your help!

That would be a very interesting feature request. Your examples shows why it would be useful.
Please do fill out the form and make the request and explain why.
