Wirecast version 3.5.5
Running on:
Macbook Pro
2.5 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB RAM
Mac OS 10.6.1
A/V source: Firewire output of Sony DSR-500 camcorder

Everything worked on my desk earlier in the day (and in the same configuration at several other previous events), but on location at this event, startup of application never got past briefly seeing the menu bar appear and then the message that "Wirecast has unexpectedly quit."

Thoughts on things to check?

Repair Disk permissions and reboot.
Create New User with Admin status and test from that account.

Obviously "something" changed.
Did this happen on repeated attempts?
