Hey all.. so in the shows that I produce they have a lot of roll-ins integrated into the show. They are all either .mov or mp4's the one problem i have is i have no idea when they are over.. most of the time i try and back time the clips but in a hectic broadcast its hard to always remember to check the broadcast time and then doing math on the fly stinks.. is there a video file tC display that i am missing? anyone have a workaround? Maybe this can be a new feature. I am using and dual core imac with 4gb of ram. I look forward to your advice!

I'll chime in here again.
Nice way of explaining it Kyle. I have the same problems counting out the many QT files I play during a broadcast.
A TC counter elapsed/remaining for a clip is my top feature request.
Really hope it's high on that list, Craig.

Tried using external timers but hitting go in 2 apps at once gets a bit nutty.

Texwhitney thank you for that .. i forgot to add that it should time remaining (back count) on the file. I too hope this is a high priority.. This will help me avoid surprising my talent when we are back from the rollin!

It's important in a professional streaming environment for sure when you have roll ins, etc.

Already there so the coders are aware of the requests.

I can't speak to timelines since they have to deal with a complex set of feature requests. I can say knowing what the users want plays a big factor in the direction things can take.
