I am about to purchase a copy of Screenflow through my employer and I have been using it for the last couple of days to decide if it is the right tool for me. It seems great but I think I have found a bug.

I am trying to do a rectangular callout by copying a clip, placing it in a timeline above the original clip and using the ctrl+drag to set the viewable area. However, I am seeing blurriness appear at the very edges of the overlaid area. See the below image for details.

As you can see I am trying to do a callout of the bottom toolbar but there is a strange blurry area at the right/left edges. This blurriness is still their even after export.





Is there any way to avoid this?

It seems to be a bug. We've had a few other reports of this. Thanks for the screenshot. We're working on a fix.
