I am not sure if this is an issue with screenflow or quicktime, but I have this really annoying problem. I am capturing about an hour of video of time, editing it in screenflow and cutting up the videos in quicktime pro because I find it easier than screenflow.
however, when i upload the last video in the screenflow series, it always shows extra video that i have cut out in quicktime, but for some reasons always appears on youtube. when i play the file in quicktime the footage is not there, but is there on youtube. it's driving me crazy and i can't seem to fix it. any thoughts? thanks in advance! You need to save your QuickTime movies as 'self-contained' in QuickTime Pro 7. You can also use the 'Trim' feature of QuickTime Player X.

jor17 it might be a bug. Is there any way you can show a visual example or screencast showing exactly what you're doing and the resultant video in YouTube.
Although you may prefer doing this in Quicktime, try in ScreenFlow with YouTube upload and tell me if the results are different. It can give us a clue where the bug might be. ------------------------- CraigS Telestream Desktop Forum Moderator |
