Hi.
Please excuse my very noobie question. I'm using a Logitech USB H390 headset to record my screencasts. Something that I find challenging is that I can't hear myself in the headset while speaking/recording. So, it's hard to gauge whether I'm speaking loud enough or not.

Is it normal, in recording, to not hear yourself? Is this standard practice? Or is it just the headset and that I should be able to hear myself while recording?

If I should be able to hear myself while recording, can someone recommend headsets (not too expensive) that has that feature?

Thank you,
Ron

Using a USB headset for both voice and monitoring can be an issue.
Make sure though that your System Sound PrefPane is set to send USB out though. If that fixes the issue you might see other issues though.
Generally it's better to use the headphone jack out of the computer.
